  • Tripeticket will provide information and guidance regarding multiple airline itineraries, but it is ultimately the responsibility of users to adhere to the requirements and policies of each airline in the itinerary.

Cancel and Refund Policy

Tripeticket acts as an intermediary between travelers and various travel service providers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators. This policy outlines our role and procedures related to cancellations and refunds without taking sole responsibility for these processes. Please read this policy carefully to understand the guidelines for cancellations and refunds.

Most of our travel-related purchases, including airline tickets, lodging, pre-paid vehicle rentals, vacation packages, and service charges, are final sales and non-returnable after 24 hours. If travel has not started and you have called our customer care center to cancel, trip protection insurance is refundable within 10 days of purchase.

You have requested a cancellation and refund with us, provided that the fare rules allow for such actions; you are not a “no show” (most “no show” bookings are not eligible for any waivers from suppliers for the processing of refunds); and we are able to obtain waivers from suppliers to carry out this requested cancellation and refund.

Service Providers’ Policies

  • Tripeticket collaborates with various travel service providers, each with its own cancellation and refund policies. Travelers are bound by the terms and conditions of these service providers when they book through our platform.
  • It is the responsibility of travelers to review and understand the specific cancellation and refund policies of the service providers before making a booking.

Cancellation Requests

  • To request a cancellation, travelers should contact Tripeticket as soon as possible. We will facilitate the process by forwarding the request to the relevant service provider.
  • Reservations may only be cancelled over the phone, not over email or web chat, for customers security. When you ask Tripeticket to cancel a booking on your behalf, our representatives will send you an email with a unique Cancellation Password to the e-mail address you provided when you made the booking. To finalize your cancellation request, please supply the Cancellation Password to our agents when prompted.
  • The processing time for cancellations varies depending on the service provider and the specific terms and conditions of the booking. [Your Company Name] will provide an estimated timeframe for processing.

Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined by the service provider and is based on their respective policies. Tripeticket does not control the refund process and will abide by the service provider’s decisions. The refund amount, if applicable, is determined by the service provider’s refund policy. Tripeticket does not have control over the refund amount and will communicate the provider’s decision to travelers.

Communication

Tripeticket will communicate relevant information between travelers and service providers to facilitate cancellations and refunds. Travelers will be kept informed of the progress and status of their cancellation and refund requests.

Airlines Baggage Policy and Fees

Customers must know about airlines’ baggage policies and fees when using the services provided by Tripeticket. Please read this section carefully, as it defines the procedures and responsibilities associated with baggage allowances, fees, and the policies of airlines.

Baggage Policy

  • Each airline has its own baggage policy, which includes details about baggage allowances, dimensions, and weight limits for both checked and carry-on luggage. Travelers should review the specific baggage policy of the airline they are flying with.
  • Baggage policies can vary among airlines and fare classes. It is the traveler’s responsibility to understand and adhere to the baggage policy associated with their booking.

Baggage Fees

Airlines may charge fees for checked baggage, oversized baggage, or additional bags beyond the specified allowances. Travelers are responsible for reviewing and covering any applicable baggage fees. Baggage fees are calculated based on the airline’s fee structure and the specific flight itinerary. Travelers should be aware of these fees before traveling.

Special Items

Airlines have policies for carrying special items such as sports equipment, musical instruments, or fragile items. Travelers should review the airline’s policies and make necessary arrangements in advance.

Connecting Flights

  • For travelers with connecting flights involving different airlines, it is important to note that baggage policies may differ between the airlines. Travelers should verify the baggage transfer process with the airlines at the time of booking.
  • In some cases, travelers may need to claim their baggage at the connecting airport and recheck it for the next flight. It is the traveler’s responsibility to understand and comply with these procedures.

Tripeticket does not assume liability for any issues related to baggage policies, fees, or the handling of baggage by airlines. Travelers should address concerns or claims directly with the airline.

Baggage policies and fees are subject to change by airlines. Travelers are encouraged to review the most up-to-date policies and fees with the respective airline before travel.

Airline Optional Services

This section outlines the terms and conditions related to optional services offered by airlines when using the services provided by [Your Company Name]. Please read this section carefully, as it defines the procedures and responsibilities associated with optional services, as well as the policies regarding airline schedule changes and flight cancellations.

Optional Services

Airlines may offer optional services such as priority boarding, lounge access, extra legroom seats, or in-flight amenities. Travelers have the option to purchase these services during the booking process, subject to availability and the policies of the airline. The availability and pricing of optional services are determined by the airline. Travelers should verify the status and costs of these services directly with the airline.

Airlines Schedule Changes/Flight Cancellations

Airlines may, on occasion, make schedule changes to their flights, including departure and arrival times. These changes can be due to operational reasons, weather conditions, or other factors.

Airlines have their own policies regarding flight cancellations, which may be related to weather, operational issues, or other factors. These policies determine how airlines handle cancellations, including rebooking options, refunds, or compensation. It is important to note that airlines are solely responsible for schedule changes and flight cancellations, including the management of related issues, such as rebooking and compensation. Travelers should reach out to the airline directly for inquiries and assistance in these situations.

Reasons for cancellations or schedule changes may include:

  • peak or high travel seasons;
  • low travel season;
  • airport terminal or gate changes;
  • fuel prices;
  • civil unrest; and
  • bankruptcy.

Remember, Tripeticket does not assume liability for any issues related to optional services offered by airlines, schedule changes, or flight cancellations. Travelers should address concerns or claims directly with the airline. Optional services, schedule changes, and flight cancellation policies are subject to change by airlines. Travelers are encouraged to review the most up-to-date policies and updates with the respective airline before travel.

Overbooking of Flights, Unaccompanied Minor, Visa and Entry Requirements

Overbooking of Flights

Overbooking may occur when airlines sell more tickets for a flight than there are available seats. This practice is a common industry standard aimed at maximizing seat utilization. In the event that a traveler is denied boarding due to overbooking, airlines typically offer compensation, which may include alternative flights, vouchers, or refunds.

Tripeticket does not control or influence the overbooking practices of airlines. Any issues related to overbooking, including compensation or rebooking, should be addressed directly with the airline.

Unaccompanied Minor Services

Airlines offer unaccompanied minor services for children traveling alone. The age requirement and service details vary by airline. Travelers should check with the airline for specific guidelines. Travelers booking unaccompanied minors should ensure compliance with the airline’s policies, complete required forms, and adhere to check-in and escorting procedures.

While airlines provide supervision during the flight, it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to handle the necessary arrangements before and after the flight.

Visa and Entry Requirements

It is the responsibility of travelers to understand and fulfill visa and entry requirements for their destination. This includes securing the necessary visas and travel documents.

Entry to a country is at the discretion of immigration authorities. Tripeticket does not control or influence visa or entry decisions. Travelers should be aware of entry requirements and be prepared to comply with them.

Tripeticket does not assume liability for issues related to overbooking, unaccompanied minor services, visa and entry requirements, or entry denials. Travelers should address concerns or claims directly with the airline or immigration authorities. Overbooking policies, unaccompanied minor guidelines, and visa and entry requirements are subject to change by airlines and governments. Travelers are encouraged to review the most up-to-date policies and updates with the respective airline and immigration authorities before travel.

General Restrictions

  • Upgrades and standbys are typically not allowed. The individual airlines are solely responsible for upgrades and standby. The airline should be contacted directly to confirm any flights because there could be last-minute itinerary adjustments. For domestic flights, you must reconfirm at least 24 hours beforehand, and for international and flights to Hawaii, you must reconfirm at least 72 hours beforehand.
  • Upon departure from foreign locations like Mexico, the Caribbean, the United Kingdom, and Australia, a passenger may be subject to a duty or departure tax. These are airport-based local government levies that are separate from the price of the initial ticket.
  • Frequent flyer miles cannot be accumulated on a large number of our reduced tickets. We reserve the right to refuse requests for travel to areas where the US government has imposed travel restrictions.
  • The airlines will receive all seat requests. Please be aware that not every seat request will be honored. Please get in touch with the airline directly if you need “stretcher assistance” or “wheelchair” or if you wish to receive fast confirmation of your seat.

When a booking error is made by one of our agents, we will use reasonable efforts to fix it as soon as it is discovered. As long as service fees for that booking are still owed, Tripeticket will provide service fees as compensation.

  • Airlines and airport security personnel conduct rigorous screening of baggage to detect prohibited materials. Travelers should cooperate with security procedures to ensure safety.
  • If prohibited materials are discovered in a traveler’s baggage, they will be confiscated by security personnel. In some cases, this may lead to legal action and fines.
  • Travelers must immediately report to security personnel any prohibited items discovered in their baggage or belongings. Failure to report may result in serious consequences.

Itinerary Re-Confirmation

Tripeticket communicates the importance of itinerary re-confirmation to travelers as part of the booking process. However, our role is to facilitate bookings and provide travel information, and we do not control the execution of these procedures.

  • It is essential for travelers to re-confirm their flight itineraries directly with the airline or service provider before the departure date. Flight details, including times, gates, and possible schedule changes, may be subject to modifications.
  • Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the most up-to-date information about their flight itinerary, including any last-minute changes. Tripeticket encourages travelers to verify their itineraries as a standard travel practice.

Disinsection

  • Disinsection is the process of treating an aircraft with insecticide to prevent the spread of disease-carrying insects, particularly in regions where such diseases are prevalent.
  • Airlines may conduct disinsection procedures to comply with international health and safety regulations. The specific disinsection methods used may vary by airline and destination.
  • Travelers should follow safety precautions and recommendations provided by the airline or flight crew during the disinsection process, which may include staying seated and keeping windows closed.
